This state-of-the-art fire station is the new home for Walpole Firefighters and expanded staff members and also houses Walpole's emergency medical service vehicles, equipment and responders.

Chris joins the Compass Team with over 30 years of experience in the design and construction industry. He is knowledgeable in all phases of project management and delivery having been extensively involved in a wide range of academic, institutional and commercial projects. 

As a Senior Project Manager at Compass, Chris will be intimately involved in projects spanning from higher education, independent and K-12 pubilc schools and municipal projects. His practical experience with a range of implementation strategies has provided him with the tools to successfully balance project requirements. He is an innovative problem solver, a thoughtful and collaborative manager and an effective communicator and decision-maker. Chris manages his projects through teamwork, motivation and a proactive approach while always maintaining project goals.

“We are excited to have Chris as part of our expanding Compass Team,” said Tim Bonfatti, Owner and President of Compass Project Management, Inc. “Chris' vast experience and in depth skill set will be a tremendous benefit to our clients and a strong asset to our company.”

Chris is graduate of the University of Vermont and earned a Master of Architecture Degree from the University of California. He is an elected Board Member of Town of Sherborn Library Trustees and an appointed Member of the Building Committee for the Sherborn Library Renovation.

Compass Welcomes New Construction Site Manager George McMahon image

George joins the Compass Team with over ten years of experience in the construction industry. He began his career as a General Contractor working directly with customers and then worked as a Construction Manager and Superintendent on multiple projects. As a Construction Site Manager at Compass, George will be on site, managing and overseeing the day-to-day progress of projects to achieve a successful outcome. With his professionalism, strong work ethic and personal approach, George develops strong relationships with everyone involved in a project. He has excellent communication skills, is very detail-oriented and able to manage a variety of tasks.

George is OSHA 30 Certified and earned his Unrestricted Supervisor License. He has an Associates Degree in Fire Science and is in the process of earning his Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology.
